    Day 1

Another 10 miles to go before we’ll arrive at Minerland, its citizens have abandoned the city to avoid the Wardens.

Kalo and Tera attacked D’vart and Krop on their way out of the cave. Unaware of what had happened underground, D’vart and Krop did not know that the Warden siblings had tricked us and were actually the enemies.

Now, the two enemy Wardens were long gone. The siblings escaped and we don’t know what trouble they will cause.

Meanwhile, we had to act fast. We need to take D’vart and Krop back to Minerland in order to be healed.

Hold on tight, D’vart and Krop! We’re almost at Minerland. I promise we will get you both back up and running in no time. Peter said.

How can you promise that Peter? You are no potion expert as far as I can tell. I joked with him.

Do you think Johansson and Beatriz won’t be able to cure the dragons? Peter seemed awfully terrified about the prospect of the dragons not being cured.

No, not at all, I was just messing around with you. Of course we can rely on their skills to save the dragons. I replied in a more serious tone, avoiding any jokes for the time being given how worried Peter seemed to be.

That is absolutely true, Peter. You can count on us. We are going to do our very best to save both. Johansson said with a bright smile on his face.

I am feeling a bit better just by hearing that. D’vart said.

Don’t kid yourself, dragon. I can sense your energy. You are still as weak as before. Fogu countered as he carried both Nether Dragons over his shoulders.

Come on now, Warden. I was just trying to cheer them up. D’vart whispered.

Oh, you were? Sorry. I am not really good with social clues. Fogu apologized quickly.

We all laughed about it except Krop, who has been unconscious the whole trip.

But seriously, I am feeling much better than before. Promise me you will heal Krop first, he is in a bad shape and it’s all because of me.

No D’vart, don’t say that. I said. Why would you be to blame for the evil Wardens’ actions?

I shouldn’t have let my guard down, or ignored the obvious signs. The Wardens came up without any of you. That should have been a major red flag from the very start. Because of that, they had the upper hand and attack me without a sweat. If Krop and I teamed up to fight them, then Krop wouldn’t be badly injured.

I beg to disagree. How were you supposed to know that they betrayed us just because no one came up with them? They treated us well in the beginning. Johansson said. "Krop was an unfortunate victim of the Wardens, as simple as that.

Yes, maybe you are right. D’vart answered. I feel bad for what happened. I should’ve been the one to protect him. He is the Original Dragon, after all. He cannot be destroyed! The Nether Dragon race will collapse without him.

Technically speaking, aren’t you his Number Two? Wouldn’t you become the new Original Dragon afterwards? I asked him.

Yes, but I am not ready for that. Krop is the best Nether Dragon leader.

It’s all good. There is no need to even think about that since we are going to do everything to make Krop well again, I said. …right? I looked at Johansson.

My daughter and I have been working on improving the Healing Potion. Although not officially sold anywhere, the Healing Potion 2.0 promises to deliver great results. We need something strong and powerful to heal the likes of a Nether Dragon so we are going to try that. Johansson replied.

Also, we are going to need at least 30 potions, maybe even more. Beatriz said. It’s not going to be easy, but we will do our best to speed up the process.

Awesome! Thank you for finding a cure for Krop and D’vart and thank you, Fogu for doing all the hard work around here. You deserve credit as much as anyone else Peter said.

It’s my pleasure to help. Fogu answered.

Soon enough, we spotted Minerland in the distance. The city lights were turned off, signaling the city’s deserted state. Nevertheless, the ghost town now offered us a new hope to save both Nether Dragons and search for the criminal Wardens!

Finally, we are close. I can’t wait to get into Minerland. Peter declared.

So, that’s the city. I can feel it with my feet. Fogu replied. It is indeed quite big. There are so many buildings everywhere. However, it seems to me that some of those buildings have been damaged.

Excuse me? Johansson asked. The buildings were intact when we left! What do you mean by that?

Well, let me see… Fogu tried to detect more energy from the area, using his hyper sensors to conduct a complete scan of Minerland before we arrived. Yes, that’s what I thought. Some of the building suffered heavy damage on the outside. I can easily tell that this was done by the two Wardens.

Really? I cannot believe this! Johansson was shocked. They had the guts to come over here and destroy our city? Those two are out of control.

Yes, I am sorry about that. Fogu replied. The damage is similar to what a Warden would do with their bare hands, so this was most likely caused by the siblings as part of their revenge.

No need to apologize, Fogu. You have nothing to do with those evil Wardens. I told him. Besides, Kalo and Tera must be really far by now. They wouldn’t stick around and wait for us to come.

You are correct; I cannot feel their energy nearby. The city is completely empty, devoid of life. No Wardens, no humans. Fogu confirmed the city’s ghost status.

Well, at least Mayor Robert made a good call by keeping everyone away for longer than expected. Johansson said.

Minerland was attacked by the two Wardens during our absence. What could they possibly be doing right now? What was their next step?

    Day 2

We stepped into Minerland in the early morning of the next day. As I walked into the city’s gates, I let out a sigh of relief. We made it!

Here we are, at long last. I thought we were never going to arrive. This was a heck of a trip. Peter told us.

I wholeheartedly agree, Peter. I replied. This has been a long trip and a terrible wait. Just hoping we can cure our dragon friends fast.

Come on now, we need to go to the lab. We can see about the destruction caused by the two Wardens later on. Johansson replied. He had his priorities straight. Healing Krop and D’vart was at the top of our list, and we had to do it now.

Back at the lab, we were surprised to know that it had suffered no damage whatsoever. Apparently, the Warden siblings skipped over the lab and did not lay a finger on it.

They did not find it. I am so glad. Johansson said in great relief. We have a good amount of annotations, recipes, rare fossils and even treasures hidden within. If they had destroyed the lab, we would have lost some valuable material.

Which makes me think, Beatriz interrupted her father. We need a safer place to store everything of value, don’t you think, Dad? Keeping it all in this lab, open to anyone and unsecured from the outside world is potentially dangerous.

"You are absolutely right, honey. It’s time we find a better storage for our precious notes and items. Maybe if we build an
