    First Dish: Asparagus Casserole

    In this recipe, we top fresh asparagus stalks with a creamy cheese sauce and crunchy breadcrumbs. You’ll adore the cheesy and savory tastes that are abundant in this dish. To keep the asparagus’ vibrant green color and give this dish a more attractive appearance, blanch it rather than overcook it. Enjoy your 10 servings of asparagus casserole!

    Time spent: 1 hour, 5 minutes.

    Ingredients:

    12 cup of panko breadcrumbs and 3 teaspoons of butter each

    3 pounds of sliced and trimmed asparagus spears

    1 tablespoon minced garlic

    Two teaspoons of regular flour

    Whole milk in two cups

    Salt as desired

    12 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

    A half-pound of cream cheese

    Instructions:

    Set oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Butter is heated in a pan with oil and breadcrumbs are added.

    Prepare a dish of water close to the burner. Ice cubes can be added to the basin. Put some water on to boil.

    Immediately submerge the asparagus in the medium basin of ice water. Drain.

    On a baking sheet, spread the blanched asparagus.

    Add the last of the butter. The garlic should be cooked for about a minute. Boil the mixture of milk and flour.
