Little Known Facts: I Have a Little List, #6
By David Macpherson and Jesse Flint

About this ebook
I Have a Little List is an occasional e-zine that gives lists. Who doesn't love lists? Lists are so awesome.
This one is less list and more a jumble of information. If we wanted to be precise and put numbers before each item and then say it is a list of little known facts. But we are too cool for that.
We just want to share useless pieces of information. There is a lot to know. From ostriches to famous last words, there is a lot of thing you didn't know and were fine living in such ignorance.
They are fun and irreverent and it is short, so you wan't have to suffer through it for long. And that's a little known fact.

Little Known Facts - David Macpherson
Before We Get Started
This was written between October of 2022 and January of 2023. Each item was sent to my friend Jesse. I always assumed I was going to compile it into an ebook. And that is what occurred.
I would not spend much time on each item, as you can tell when you read it. Sometimes Jesse would respond to the entry. I like what he has to say, so in some instances, I included what he wrote.
Thought most of the work, and the blame, will rest soundly on me, there is still enough by Jesse that I have to credit him. How much an honor it is to be a co-author in a series of e-books that do not sell? Probably not the finest.
At the end of last year, I had seven small books being written one text at a time. I picked a friend and wrote one specific book for them. This was the second one started and the second to last to be completed.
To be fair, it was less a surrender than reaching a finish line. But it is done and ready to be read. I had an audience of one in Jesse. Now, I hope you will be the next audience of one. I hope you enjoy it.

Little known fact. The story of Aladdin was not part of the original Arabian Nights. Aladdin was just its own folk tale. A French translator put it into the Arabian Nights tale because he thought the story was spiffy, or whatever word those French would use.

Little known fact. The cinnamon we eat and cook with is not cinnamon. What we get is cassia. It is cheaper than cinnamon. Cinnamon just has the name on the marquee. We have no idea what anything really tastes like.
