About this ebook

What makes you a real writer?

When some hapless hack asks you to write a blurb for their book. Ha! Suckers!

With that in mind, David Macpherson must be a real writer. He wrote a lot of blurbs.

He promises that he only read a quarter of  the books he blurbed. He apologizes to the Union of Amalgamated Blurb Writers for reading as much as he did. He will strive to improve.

With that said, he had a book due this month and decided the easiest thing to do is gather all the blurbs he wrote and pawn it off to you, you sheep, you.

Oh, because it is a book about blurbs, we guess we should end this with a blurb.

This is a sign that they think your good word will sell some copies. This also means that you are not at the bottom of the writing ladder. There are people below you looking to get some of your words on their cover.

I never say no to writing blurbs. Even if I am busy, I will always agree and get it to them the next day. How do I write my praise of the book so quickly? I don’t read it. That slows me down. And besides, reading the book might unduly influence my blurb. I might accidentally tell people what I think of the book, and no one wants
