Published in the June 2022 issue of Classic Scooterist, the article caused some discussion on the subject of Grimstead Vespa ‘Hurricane’ and Lambretta ‘Imperial’ dealer special scooters.

Going through the archives it’s been possible to trace an advertisement from Scooter World magazine, dated April 1963, that uses these titles. The previous month’s similar advert failed to use these names, so Eddy and his cousin Roger’s discussion on the use of this marketing ploy must have occurred before this date.
