It was Christmas break, and I was going to see Maya.

The ten weeks had passed quickly, like she told me they would. We often texted each other, and usually had a phone conversation on the weekends, but Maya shared nothing about her muscular development. If I tried to ask her about it, she would tell me to just wait and see.

I had spent a lot of money on gifts for her. I couldn’t buy her any clothing because I didn’t know what her size would be, but there were several books that I thought she would like, and I had bought her a PlayStation 5, which were still hard to get at the time.
