    Thoughtcicles - Patricia Harris

    After I have gone,

    And mother nature has

    long forgotten me,

    though you should grieve,

    I will no longer care.

I will no longer be bothered,

    as nature is not bothered

by the passing of man through

it's holdings. And I shall be

untouchable more than you are now.

At first I came on tumblr

    looking for prompts,

    Even though I need kindness.

    Brain freeze -

    reaching the speech center.

    Instead of being verbose

I am struggling to have a vocabulary.

    The cold setting in,

    isolating the thoughts

    creating the sensation

    of an empty head...

Though it is a pretty summer day,

    I have thoughtcicles forming

    in the mindscape.

    Poetry is more than

    love verses and rhymes,

    Sometimes it is pure misery

    bled copiously

    sometimes the poet uses
