Roxanne is a driven and passionate Master's Social Worker by degree with a love for reading, writing and poetry. In the tender years of her elementary schooling, she began reading poems from Maya Angelou to Nikki Giovanni. Motivated by voices such as Toni Morrison, Sista Souljah and even Rosalyn McMillan, Roxanne began writing her own poems and short stories. After being led back to her passion, she decided to finally publish her first book, "How to Mend A Broken Woman," in hopes of sharing her work with others and touching lives as poetry has touched hers. Roxanne Currently resides in North Carolina with her daughter.
