To catch the world that they have known.

In borrowed shoes, I’ll wander on

Their life, their hopes, a fragile dawn,

I’ll spin their world with tender care.

In someone else’s shoes, I’ll see,

The world through eyes that aren’t my own.

A chance to glimpse what life can be,

With empathy and kindness shown.

In shoes well-worn, with weary soles,

I’ll feel the weight of battles fought.

I’ll see the scars, the mental tolls,

The victories, the lessons sought.

With tender steps, I’ll twist and bend,

Reveal the struggles deep inside.

Their fears
