To those who give me the words to create my Immortality, and all other poems...Each of you are important. Whether you realize it or not.

    A Childhood Memory

    Made from simple cloth

    And thread...

    Why can you linger so

    inside my head?

    A childhood memory,

A toy made special for me.

You haunt me as I cannot recall

When I lost you, where you are?

    A Dream Denied

    Langston Hughes spoke

    of a dream deferred,

    and I have always felt...

that perhaps he listed the word wrong...

    Deferred implies that in time

the dream will come to pass...

I think perhaps that it is far worse

    to have a dream denied.

    The dream stolen,

taken away is always to me

    so much worse than deferred,

    because with deferred

    there is always hope

that one day you may have

    that dream returned.
