Description
Remembering the days when I was home writing, day dreaming, transferring myself elsewhere. The memories that we have are the ones loaded with emotions. The rest is sinking into the subconscious mind so we can move forward and survive. Tonight I felt how I reconnected with that girl who was writing on her orange type-writer when she was twelves or thirteen. Writing was healing. Writing was a creation of a world. Writing was freedom. Then, the more my mind closed, the less I wrote. The less I felt. I more I was numb. I transformed. But I had to go down to get back up again and reach new heights. I remember writing and feeling as if I couldn't stop. I had to force myself to stop. I also wrote by hand. I used to have filled journals. Can you imagine that? That's a very strong reason why I encourage long hand writing. It is extremely therapeutic. Hand writing is an idiomotor-response form the subconscious mind bypassing the critical filter. When you do that, you release whatever emotion you get to express through it at that level. It is very powerful.
