    Introduction

    You know that feeling of Life happening to everyone and every element around you but yourself?

    That was me, for the first two decades on my own. I observed. I observed people, nature, the sky, the sea. I observed all that was surrounding me, to the very details. Some people being born, some dying, some flowers blooming, some withering. And I was just there. I found sweetness in observing how the moon let place to the sun every morning. I observed people loving each other, laughing, moving, walking. And I was just there, static, motionless, victim of my own life. I listened, to the euphonious sound of birds, I listened to the deafening sound of the waves, to the ear-splitting silence. The world around me becoming alive more and more, people were changing, growing. Some getting married, some separating. And I was there. Observing. As if Life was too beautiful for me to be part of it. I loved observing Life, for its grandeur and mysterious feel, but I couldn’t be an exuberance of it. The Universe seemed to be expanding and moving forward every day, and I was just there, couldn’t move. I felt separated from everything, yet responsible for all. I felt, with all my being, the emotions that were escaping; could have been pain or joy, I just felt and couldn’t move. So I was just there, observing, listening, feeling, smelling, but without knowing, without living, and barely breathing.

    That was me, looking for an ‘it’, for myself. And I found something. It’s only when
