Began writing in the mid 1980s and has published works in a variety of publications ranging from academic work, some articles in national press, short stories, poetry, children's books. A talented poet, winning a number of awards for his work. A musician and visual artist, essentially one of those annoying creative types.

Summer

Lying in the grass,

waiting for nothing,

smouldering beneath the clearest blue,

lying next to you.

Not a word spoken,

a joy so strong within,

an endless moment to view.
