Hope I See...: Sensing a Saviour, #2
()
About this ebook
Can Hope be seen in this world?
Can poetry unveil Hope to the human heart, making the invisible visible?
…words like watercolors
cascading across the page,
shaded tones of nuance
and perspective crafted
by imagery hawking its wares,
spirit and life expressed
with no less grace than
a prima ballerina on stage,
perfect poems paint portraits
but in terms and tears
soaking the page,
in rage, in love, in passion, in power,
in poetry!
Come take a look inside and see the wonders of Hope…

Hope I See... - Melissa Brown
Hope I See...
They say it can literally
save your life.
From a POW
to a child stolen,
how do people survive
the worst life dishes out?
Darkness pervades,
invades every corner
and stays,
hovering, then covering up
the Light.
Shadows grow long as it moves
in, this murky minion
meant to maul us with its malice.
But...so many survive.
They are revived,
made alive
by One thing,
One who brings His power
in play.
The One shines,
defines perfection,
realigns our needs,
designs our good.
This one thing remains
in the deep aching, quaking darkness.
Millions have lived to tell,
dispel the myths,
share gospel Truth.
No fantasy,
but reality.
Powers of evil soar,
but One bore it all on Himself.
Weakness wants to win.
The body bends, and
spirits feel spun out of control.
But...
is it true? what they say?
can it literally save your life?
save my life?
soul sinking in sorrow?
Tomorrow may be the day!
Look up!
It's Him, our Hope I see!
A Promise
color follows clouds,
shine shimmers through
prisms,
storm has driven through,
only dripping remnants remain,
yet the burgeoning light
reveals the very dictates
of a Mighty God,
an intended control of will,
a presentation of promise,
this presentation of visible hues
remind of coming
