Getting the Most from this Book

Please consider this your personal journey to freedom rather than just a book. At the end of this journey, my hope is that ‘you’ will be able to get to a stage of your life where you are happy with yourself and holding on to freedom.

As we all define and see ‘Freedom’ differently, you will get the most value if you take the time to review and complete the questions at the end of each chapter. For ease, there is space to jot down your thoughts or if preferred on a separate Journal. As you consider each response I invite you to be give it your all, and be honest and true to yourself.

The Day I Died

Today was the day I was supposed to die… I felt it in my bones, felt the fires of my soul leaking into the depths of darkness. As I saw myself hanging there lifeless, I was compelled to make sorrow a reality. Taunted by the voices, by the demons to join them in the abyss. The day I almost died… because I was supposed to die, because the enemies of my soul willed it and are bent on the truth of my destruction.

But the day I was supposed to die was the day I was reborn, the day I became legend. It was the day my failures became my strength, my fear turned to anger and sorrow became the fuel for the light to consume the darkness like wildfire. I rose from the grave to conquer fear and grind my enemies to chaff. As I awake, I ask death Where is your sting? Your grasp on my life… MY LIFE… is no more.
