    tales.

    The Cure For Heartbreak

Wine + junk food + trashy films =

    the perfect remedy for heartache,

but as the buzz wears off and the pain sets in

there is no instant cure for heartbreak.

    Revenge will leave you bitter

and anger will leave you damaged.

Don’t be alone in the darkness,

tear down the walls, don’t burn the bridge.

With laughter and time will come healing

and patience will help you restart.

There’s no superglue to fix the pieces,

plasters can’t mend a broken heart.

    No Apologies

    My feelings are my own

    they don’t need your consent.

    Ignore it or accept

    don’t try to object.

    My heart needs defences

for the choices that it makes.

    Numb to common sense

    blind to its mistakes.

These words I tried to hide

    but I can’t deny

    I like you

    and I’m making no apologies.

    Green

    I can’t stop this feeling,

    this aching in my stomach.

    The green eyed monster’s raging,

    this envy’s got me stuck.

    I’m elbow deep in quicksand

    but I’ll pretend I’m fine.

    Reality betrays me

    as I pretend you’re mine.

    A seismic rage engulfs me

as she eyes up my treasure.

    The pain
