If I Never See You Again

If I never see you again,

I won’t be happy ‘till I reach my end.

Cause I’ll never stop loving you.

You are the only thing in my life thats true.

I hide behind a mask ,

For those I don’t want to let in.

With you I can’t deny how I feel ,

It’s you through and through.

I cannot hide it,

I tried to fight it all along.

I cannot fight it,

My love for you it is so strong.

Whenever you reach out I’ll be there,

If ever you feel the need to be loved like no one else can do.

I’d turn back the time, never commit the crime,

I’d just be still.............. loving you.

Flicking through memories in my mind,

Mental scrapbooks,

Of me being unkind.

It took so long,

To realise what I’d done was wrong.

I tried my best to change ,

But I ran out of time.

Memories float around on the breeze,

All it reminds me is of how much I need you.

Keep trying to tear myself away, from the hurt and the tears,

But it won’t go away.

Never Lost

I’ve been here before,

On the other side of the closed door.

Shut out from fear,

Lost within the world.

Never to be the same.

Shut out in the cold,

Where the world closes down.

A tortured soul,

Down trodden by now.

Alone and afraid,

Spirited times,

To change is to grow,

I’m wondering why.

A moment in life,

When time stood still,

A kind of release,

A bitter pill.

Hope stood there beside me,

And still lingers on.

A glimmer inside me.

From all that had gone.

I wistfully remember,

Times of joy,

I still can’t remember,

Why I tried to Destroy.

I accomplished,

Destruction Of My Humanity

It seems with ease.

Destruction of my humanity

And to bolt shut the door.

Torn away from the fitting side,

Ragged edge,

Broken life.

What came to this was something not needed.

A warning I saw but never heeded.

Now you’ve gone and taken away,

My reason for being,

My reason I stay.

I can’t blame you,

From what I put you through.

Realised too late,

That I was hurting you.

Treated the time,

was never too kind.

Not turning round,

To see me go,

Was a shot in the arm.

Feeling so low.

I’d be by your side forever more.

If you opened the bolted shut door.

But I guess it now seems,

I’ll never see you again.

Maybe for the best,

Cause I can’t leave you again.

You Are the Beauty in My Soul

You are the beauty in my soul,

You are the reason for me to be.

With one step I wish, in your arms to be.

To hold you close ,

To feel you near.

To care for you and love.

Like the northern lights, dancing in the sky,

You are sent from up above.

I wish to share my love with you.

Each and every day.

I wish for you to feel this love and return it back.

I hope your mind can become clear and you will truly find.

The love from me is what you want, honest, pure and kind.

I love you Gayle! I say out loud I don’t care who hears or sniggers.

For without you in my word my love, it feels like I’ve pulled the trigger.
