And I’m In Love
Sometimes when you meet someone they have a profound effect on you. It could be their smile, or the twinkle in their eyes, or the sound of their voice. Maybe it’s the way they call your name or the way they laugh. Perhaps some time has passed and you still like what you see or the words they have spoken still linger in your mind. Suddenly you realize you are smitten. All you know is there is now an emotional charge associated with this person and your heart is off and running. And you start to think those three words . . . I’m in Love.
I Think I Want to Stay
Maybe it was the way you looked at me
and called my name that night.
Or maybe the way you pulled me close,
and held me oh so tight.
It might have been that special kiss,
that dried my tears away.
All I know is I don’t know,
I think I want to stay.
It may have been the way you sang,
that touched me deep within.
Or the caring look you gave my kids,
when they came running in.
I don’t know what, where, why or when,
but I feel so close to you.
But, now that I have met you,
what am I gonna do.
You came into my life,
and turned it upside down.
You came and touched my soul,
and turned me all around.
You reached a part of me,
I thought was hidden away,
I don’t know, I just don’t know,
I think I want to stay.
