The Many Facets of Love

When I started to write this book, I didnt know it was going to be a sad
inspirational kind of book. I started to write what I was feeling at that
moment and later on, what other people around me might be thinking and
feeling after a betrayal when I put myself in their shoes. This book is about
feeling betrayed, deceived, and abandonned by someone that said they
loved you. It is also about the joy of feeling alive when you have the love
and respect of that other person. In addition, it is about feeling rejected
by that same person who prophesized his or her love to you in the fi rst
place. When I was done writing, I realized that it was to be a sad book
about love ending and how many facets love could have and at the same
time, inspirational for others so they wont make the same mistake listed
in the book.

I was born in Haiti a little over twenty six years ago. When I was there I started to write poems as a little girl. I remembered I had a crush on this boy who was older than I and since I was shy and couldn’t talk to him, I started to write down my thoughts on my notebook. That was how I started to put my thoughts on paper even though at that time it was only in French. Then ,when I came here 11 years ago, started to write a bit in English. To tell you the truth, at that time I wouldn’t open a book for you to read, I hated to read. Then, one day in 9th grade, I saw a group of my friends reading french romance book. I asked for one to just read, you know because I didn’t want them to know that I didn’t like to read. The book was so good, since then, I was hooked, but my preferences are Romance Historical, vampire, Silhoutte Romance but I read everything I can get my hands on. So, I’m going to try putting everything on paper and I hope you guys will help me be a success. Enjoy!

Innocent that I am to fall in love

With a man that only sees me as an object.

Innocent that I am, to give him all my heart,

And all my soul and Body for his pleasure

Being in love can make people look pathetic.

Looking Back and seeing the entire thing that happened to me

Made me wished that I never fallen in love.

Innocent that I was, made me wished that

I had never given my heart the way I did.

But, now that I am older, wiser and more mature,

I would never be that innocent again.

Innocent that I was, made people felt sorry for me when they saw me.

Even when they tried to talk me out of loving that man,

I never listened to them, and Because of that, I am suffering.

Now, I wished I had listened.

Now, he comes back trying to win my love again,

Which will be a hard work.

Since I stiff remember all the tears that I shed for him,

And all the treatments I received from him.

It will be hard to forgive him even if I still love him.
