The Pain Behind The Smile

This book is dedicated to:
My husband, Max, and our three beautiful children, Kymani, Inaya, and Tiziana. You all are my joy, my happiness, and my biggest motivators. I love you!
Mom, you told me to go for it and that’s what I am doing. Going for it. Thank you. I love you!
Aunty Ayana, the very first person who ever believed in my writing abilities. Because of you reading my journals and hyping me up when you would visit, I finally came out of my shell. Thank you for being my very first fan. I love you!

Whilst the world is asleep at 2 a.m., often times an eccedentesiast is awake dealing with their pain, hurt, and/or sadness, preparing for
