The writer, Elizabeth Postma, is a mother of three with a few mental disorders including bipolar, panic/anxiety, social anxiety and borderline personality disorders. She writes for herself with the passion that is in her heart. Ms. Postma says “I’m publishing my poetry in hopes to reach those with the same mental diseases as I have. I know I’m not alone in the world and hope to let others know they are not alone as well. I also hope to reach the loved ones of those with mental disorders and help them understand how deeply we think and feel.” Ms. Postmas’ readers quote “I love it” and “It’s what so many people are going through”. Elizabeth Postma
Elizabeth Postma is a single mother of three and lives in Deatsville, Al with two of her children. Her first expereince with poetry was in the second grade with "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and remains her favorite childhood book. She wrote her first poem "Young Love" in 2004 about her first love. She started writing regularly as a type of therapy in 2006. All of her poetry is published in "Screams of the Heart" and just keep getting better the further into the book you read. She continues to write on a regular basis and hopes to publish another book as soon as she can. Her readers quote "I love it" and "It's what so many people are going through".
