    Always Hungry? explores the role foods and certain nutrients play in the standard American diet and why weight loss attempts often don’t work. It then introduces a new approach to diet that does work.

    In the United States, much of the standard diet is comprised of simple carbohydrates, refined sugars, and processed foods, all of which have contributed to the rise of obesity. To better control weight, Americans have tried any number of diets, most of which recommend calorie restriction, low fat intake, and various combinations of foods and nutrients. However, many people struggle to stick to these diets and constantly battle hunger. In terms of weight loss, they quickly plateau, gain back the weight they lost, or even put on more weight than before.

    The Always Hungry Solution, named in response to typical diets that leave people feeling frequently hungry because of calorie restriction, recommends three phases of changes to eating habits, all enhanced by life supports, such as sleep, stress relief, goal-setting, and tracking progress. By following this solution, which includes a focus on consuming healthy fats, people can activate their fat-burning cells while eating whenever they’re hungry, without practicing calorie restriction.
