The Zero Belly diet plan focuses primarily on targeting visceral fat, a particular type of belly fat that can cause serious health issues, including heart problems, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease. The diet employs nine groups of food that specifically contribute different nutrients that perform various functions in the body. These groups are organized into meals, drinks, and snacks that are recommended within the daily meal plans.
