Introduction

I’m writing this book to my beloved, to those I call friends, those that I love, for everything that you are and everything that you aren’t. I appreciate you. My well wishes are with you, and I pray you succeed in your endeavors. Above all, I speak the words coming from a loving and understanding heart full of compassion, consideration, and meekness. I write to help create a new perspective in everyday experiences, whether at home dealing with your family or in a more intimate setting communicating with a significant other, at school dealing with classmates and friends, maybe on the job, and dealing with your co-equals and boss. Whatever the case may be, the words I write to you facilitate edifying our character and improving decision-making no matter the scenario.

Here I have compiled some idioms, parables, figures of speech, and philosophies that I have gradually used to become a better person. Please, as you read this book, there will be several things that stick out to you. I implore you to take notes, share your thoughts, share in your understanding of the literature, and if it pleases you, make these parables yours and bestow them onto your children, spouse, friends, and family that they too can share in your understanding.
