Chapter 1: Are you really ready to date?
We’ve all been there. That horribly confusing in between period of getting over an ex, and wanting to start fresh with someone new in hopes of finally finding your soul mate. With those not so wonderful last memories haunting us with our every thought, how do we fight the urge of moving forward a little too fast in order to block out the loneliness? In this chapter we will discuss how to know when you’re ready to finally move on from your past and start fresh.
Leave the past behind you.
Once you take a step back and think about it, it’s really simple honestly. Leaving the past behind you is an often underestimated factor when it comes to looking towards the future. So many people have adopted the mindset that in order to get over my ex, I must find someone new
. Where this may seem like the best route to follow, it couldn’t be further from the truth.
When we dive headfirst into a new relationship without first cleaning out our closet filled with the skeletons of our past, we tend to live in comparison to
