    Meal 1: Apple pie

    Introduction: Apple pie can be remembered as your granny’s favorite secret recipe. There are different styles to each recipe. You can enjoy this yummy recipe during festive seasons or when you have a family get together.

    Serves: 2-3 persons

    Preparation time: 20 minutes

    Cooking time: 35 minutes

    Ingredients:

    2 ½ cups of self raising whole wheat flour

    2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

    1 ½ cups of chopped apples, skin removed

    ¾ teaspoon of nutmeg powder

    ¼ cup of raw honey

    Oil for brushing

    Equipments used:

    Rolling pin

    Oven

    Procedure:

    1. Mix the apples with raw honey and nutmeg powder.

    2. Prepare dough out of the self raising whole wheat flour and water. After that you have roll with the help of a rolling pin.

    3. Take a medium sized baking tray. Brush oil over it.

    4. Place the dough over the tray. Keep in such a fashion that the dough will hang a minimum 1 inch on either side.

    5. Now it’s time to place the marinated apples over the dough. Roll dough and make sure to place it on top.

    6. Now, with the help of a knife, you may carve few designs in to ensure that the contents inside should cook easily.

    7. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Insert the apple pie and bake for 35 minutes.

    Remove and allow to cool. Then serve the crispy hot apple pie.

    Calorie count: Per serving, the meal contains 255 calories.

    Meal 2: Golden syrup pikelets

    Introduction: This is a quick version of pancake. All you need to do is arrange all the ingredients and then follow procedures to an efficiently cooked golden syrup spikelet.

    Serves: 2-3 persons

    Preparation time: 10 minutes

    Cooking time: 7 minutes

    Ingredients:

    1 cup of whole wheat flour

    ¼ cup of golden syrup

    1/4 cup of raw milk

    1/3 cup of honey

    Oil for frying

    Procedure:

    1. Prepare a mixture of whole wheat flour, golden syrup, milk, and raw honey.

    2. Mix well and see that it has an even texture.

    3. Heat oil in a frying pan.
