About this ebook

A story of love, lust, trust and betrayal. Mike, my bass player, marries the girl of his dreams but worries about what she's doing so much that she gives him nightmares. My wife Jessie and I go looking for her, hoping to help but what we find takes us places we never expected to go.

EXCERPT:
Her name was Cherry. With a name like that, I guess her parents were hoping she’d grow up to be a stripper or a hooker.

She was the classic beach bunny type-long blond hair, big smile, a golden tan, blue eyes and a chest that made my jaw drop. The first time she walked in the door, Mike lost it. He was falling all over himself to help her. She was just barely eighteen and he was twenty-five. He thought he'd found the love of his life. At first, I thought she was only interested in hanging out with the band. Later, I figured out that she was looking for a way to escape the crappy life she was living. Whatever their reasons, they snuck off and got married so I went over to help Mike pack her stuff up and get it in the band’s bus.

We finished our sessions a few days after Mike and Cherry got married and we were on our way back home. The second night on the road, Cherry ‘accidentally’ got into Jim's bunk on her way back from the bathroom. Her story would have been a little more convincing if she hadn’t pulled Jim's pants down before she realized where she was.

A diverse blend of music floated through the rooms of Nick Foxx’s house as he grew up. His family listened to and played blues, jazz, folk, gospel, country, rock’n’roll and classical music and they all fascinated him. Late in the night, he’d sit with his father and grandfather while they told stories and sang their favorites.Professors and artists mingled with ranchers and farmers around picnic tables in Nick's backyard to enjoy fried fish, barbecue, and good music as the neighborhood children chased fireflies in the twilight. The music he heard filled his head with dreams of being a professional musician. He played at local dances, clubs, and bars before he could drive. By twenty-one, he had performed for crowds of thousands, heard himself on the radio, and sang on live TV. His music has been used in advertising, film, television, theater, and played in concert halls. Records he worked on decorate the walls of his office and home.Nick began publishing ebooks in 2008 with Anonymous Publishing. While writing under the pen name, Nicky Faulkes, Nick’s work “The Time Of My Life” won the Earth Day Story Contest on Literotica.com and gained him the praise of peers. Chapter 1

Mike, Jay and I were always together. For fifteen years, we played one gig after another. Other bands fell apart or replaced members again and again but the three of us stuck together and built a solid career with our band. I played guitar, Jay drums, and Mike played bass. While I did most of the writing and singing, the guys sang back up vocals for me and our voices blended together beautifully. We were luckier than most. We survived, even thrived over the years.

I was lucky in love too. My wife, Jessica, was perfect for me. Plus, she was as wild and crazy as any man could ask for in a partner. She was a class act, treating everyone like they were a friend and giving them the respect they deserved. In a boardroom or a biker bar, she handled whatever came her way with ease and grace. In the bedroom, she was a wild, kinky, adventurous, insatiable, bisexual freak. She kept me so happy, I was never even remotely
