About this audiobook

This ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’ Guided Meditation & Hypnotherapy session is aimed at people who have an anxiety disorder caused by a very stressful, frightening or distressing event. If you are suffering badly from PTSD, please seek professional medical help. The symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can have a significant impact on your day-to-day life. In most cases, the symptoms develop during the first month after a traumatic event. But in a minority of cases, there may be a delay of months or even years before symptoms start to appear. You may be experiencing long periods when your symptoms are less noticeable, followed by periods when they get worse. In this session we use a simple NLP technique called the Rewind Technique, which is a technique used for processing traumatic memories and involves an element of exposure. We will ask you to imagine watching yourself on a screen, as if you are watching a 'film' of the traumatic event that is affecting you. Then slowly we will start to reduce your feelings around this event. We recommend that you listen to our session at least four times so you can really compound the positive messaging, override the old beliefs and help your mind create new neural pathways to help you mange and control feelings of PTSD.
