About this audiobook

Fate has given them an ultimatum, bond or die.

A fox raised among wolves, Sebastian has spent his life fighting to survive. His skills with magic, his quick wit and instincts, all keep him on the move until fate leads him to Liam.

Alpha werewolf, Liam, is everything Sebastian has spent his entire life avoiding. But there’s a magic between them, a spark of something beyond a fox or a wolf; an awakening energy. But when Seb’s past catches up, a darkness arises none of them know how to fight.

Can the two of them find a way to work together to defeat rogue wolves, fae monsters, and a couple of demons bent on destruction?

I really loved it. I got sucked into the universe from the start and liked all the characters and the plot. Narrators voice was great as well and seemed to fit my image of the characters perfectly. In case anyone's confused (because I was) this is book one.

I loved everything about this audiobook from story and character to narration.

The idea was good, but the execution not so much.. it contradicted itself so many times, and not in an "unreliable narrator" kind of way but more of a "this line makes no sense with the previously established for the characters, but it works for this chapter so it's staying" way. The narration wasn't very good, the accents were weird and Sebastian's voice was always sort of screaming, even when it was supposed to be a wisper. Honestly, I don't even know why I finished the book.

Interesting idea, and I really liked the original take on omegas, but the execution was pretty shaky. Certain things got really repetitive, and though most things technically had a purpose, the plot still felt distracted somehow. Also not a fan of the progression of their relationship.

Loved it. From start to finished this book is full of action and bd survival.

Sebastian the “Witchborn” half blood Fox shifter is stronger than he thinks. He grew up around werewolves, adopted, raised and loved by the meanest of them all.

Liam the wolf alpha leader of a brand new pack is everything Sebastian’s old pack isn’t - kind, fair and patient.

Can Sebastian stop running long enough to love this fates mate?

I love how just when you think you know what’s happening, suddenly there are more magical creatures.

    Can’t wait for book two!

Eerily similar to Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series. Like other than changing a few details and it might as well be the same. DNF
