Great plot idea, but the execution was quite clumsy. The bad delivery really should have ruined it for me, but somehow I was still engaged and not too annoyed.
Soo... this was great, but sucked, but was good... for lack of better words.

I have similar feelings about the narrator. He wasn't terrible, but he overacted a lot and I wasn't a fan of the voice he made for Wade. Still, I quite liked his natural voice, and when the acting matched the context it was great.

What a great story! I hated when it ended but like that the author left a perfect opening for the next book. Rhys is a wonderful storyteller.

Although I felt like I should have first read a book or other series from Rhys Lawless to have better background info, this story was a creative one and kept me interested. Narrator did a very good job interpreting the story and keeping characters clearly identified thru his voice and varied accents. Will look for next book in series!
