Great reading whilst part of the story was predictable, it was great tat there was not any drama between the two main characters. There was no splitting up and suspicion, it was refreshing. I liked that they were a united unit, standing together against adversity and non wavering in thee devotion to each other and their daughter. I sometimes tire of the insecurities plot lines, so this book was grea as it never went there. I strongly recommend this book

really good story. TRIGGERS: Domestic Violence, kidnapping. Based on how JD started the book, I thought there would be just a little more MC drama involved but that wasn't the case. I loved that the heroine, Ella starts off as a damsel but you can see her slowly grow into her own and become a very strong mama bear. The hero, Marcus is the strong alpha male who happens to be a billionaire and a former biker. Yum TWICE!!! Despite being surprised by Ella after not seeing her in a few years, he handles everything rather calmly. I would've expected him to blow his lid. Turns out, he was pretty chill to a certain extent. I loved that the hero's best friend is a woman and that there was no drama or cheating involved with their relationship. Really good book.

Definite vibes of The Princess Bride…in that it sounds like your grandpa is reading you a romance novel. Super uncomfortable becomes unbelievably unbearable when he tries to replicate the breathy moans and screams of a female mid-orgasm. Barf.

The story is great, but dear god save yourself the ovary-shrivelling by reading it instead of listening and nearly barfing in your car.

I hate women like the female lead who allow a man to believe that a child is there when they know that the child belongs to someone else and then when it comes time to split out from them they finally come out with the truth that the child doesn't belong to the man that they lied to just so that the man doesn't get any custody or anything other child anymore. Women like that are trash. who will use a man to raise a child and take care of them solely because baby daddy was non-responsive and then whenever they don't want the husband no more they utterly destroy them with news their child they raised is another man's. It's cruel. It means that her and Jacob are perfect for one another because they were both cruel people.

(If you like the surprise pregnancy troupe, the billionaire troupe, the bad boy turns good troupe, the one night stand troupe , some nice sex scenes that our not overdone, but are still hot and you are a sucker for a HEA ending?!?.... then this is your kinda book ?.) *I always like books like this, where I do not have to think. I can clean my house and still listen to my child and not have to pause ⏯️ the book 40 times lso I don't miss an important part lol! This was a good read/listen. It had a few surprises , that you did not see coming. It was an easy listen/read. I enjoyed it. I loved the characters and I really enjoyed the steamy sex scenes ❤️. I gave this a 3.5 out of 5 ⭐'s only because I enjoyed the story and I am glad I listened to it, but I would not re-listen just because its one of those books where you enjoy it, your happy you listened/read it, but it's not like omg wow I can't get this story out of my mind. Yes it was a nice listen, but I'll forget about it in a week. Just give it a go you will not be disappointed! I very much enjoyed it ?.

I just got into audiobooks and for me what makes a good one is the voice actor, not just the story. This story was decent but the actor really got me into it so I enjoyed it. I hate listening to some audiobooks and the actor comes off sounding like a robot.
