(Chelsea & Damon): so I read this book not knowing that it came before "... Fake Wedding", and that Damon is the sports agent of the football player from that book. I love it when books come together, even when you read them out of order. So now we learn a little more about the horrible cook that Damon's brother continues to speak about and little Luna. Probably would've helped if Scrib'd had them listed and numbered as a series.??‍♀️. So this starts off with these two in severe dislike of each other and they end up relieving that stress in the best possible way. Only things don't go as planned and Chelsea ends up broke and Single mother. This is where you learn that a mother will endure anything JUST to take care of her child. Damon is a complete jerk through most of the book with no real reason why other than it's good for business. When Chelsea applies for a job, he hires her and plans to make her suffer. Though he doesn't know her secret. I love that no matter what, Chelsea does not back down from Damon and doesn't let him get away with treating herself or others like crap. I also love that deep down there's more to Damon than the devil that wears Prada. He's got layers, and I love reading how Chelsea plus back each into. Really good book. And let me tell you. His brother is just as annoying in this book as he is in his own.

I absolutely disliked the male narrator. I have tried several times to listen to this book. But couldn’t because of him. He sounds so old. I will not read the next book as l hav noticed he is narrating that also

This is not a standalone. It is the first book in the series. Wish i had known that before i heard the 2nd book first!
