About this audiobook

Billionaire. Next-door neighbor. Mortal enemy.

I knew it was a bad idea to get on the elevator.

Because now, I have three problems.

#1 I’m stuck in the elevator.

#2 I’m soaking wet from the rain.

#3 HE got in before the doors closed.

Miles Humphries.

My neighbor. The one I HATE.

Cocky. Tall. Infuriatingly hot. The biggest jerk I’ve ever met.

Mr. Bachelor-for-Life and I are complete opposites:

I’m reserved, he’s the life of the party.

I love my cat, he loves his motorcycle.

I live quietly, he lives to annoy me.

Imagine my jaw drop when he asks me to be his fake fiancée.

And move in with him.

Together with my cat.

Hello? That’s disaster waiting to happen.

It’s insulting, ridiculous, and inappropriate.

But then he makes me an offer I can’t refuse.

And suddenly, I’m engaged and living with my nemesis.

Did I say he’s torturously sexy? Sinfully tattooed?

Not that it matters.

He wasn’t supposed to give me the best kiss of my life.

I wasn’t supposed to like his deliciously naughty rumblings in my ear.

Or crave the toe-curling nights.

And I sure as hell wasn’t supposed to fall for the world’s biggest heartthrob, Miles Humphries.

A sexy Enemies-to-Lovers romance from USA Today bestselling author Jolie Day. Come see what happens when the sinful bad boy and the good girl next door collide. Literally. Stand-alone romantic comedy, no cliffhanger. Jolie Day is team HEA. The elevator doors are closing, jump on in!

Did anyone else have issues with this recording jumping from chapter to chapter or skipping spots?

I love the book but I’m having a hard time following along because of it.

Once again JD manages to pull out all the feels. This book was funny and unbelievably hot. Miles is always in the news and not got anything good. His father has given him an ultimatum to clean up his act. His solution: get a fake fiance. ??‍♀️. Rose is his neighbor and they do not get along. They spend most of the beginning of the book playing pranks on each other which is kind of funny. Especially since they're attracted to each other. Unforeseen circumstances have Rose playing the role of a doting fiance. I loved that these two did not change who they were just because they were now acting as a couple. They still picked on each other. The fireworks that exploded were more like someone blew up a fireworks stand. ?????. JD also managed to jam the knife in and twist it in order to gather the proper amount of freaking tears. Such a good emotional roller coaster.

I had to dnf this. There was no plot beyond explicit sexual encounters and fantasies. BORING. This just was not for me.

This is my favorite story of the three. Rose made Miles want to be a better man Simply by loving him. Neither one of them was willing to take the chance, until they are forced to speak now or forever hold your peace.

I loved this story, it was sexy, with plenty of angst, full of feels and quite funny. I was prepared for the second book in this series to disappoint (based on the book description) but as the story progressed I warmed to the H. This book was beautifully narrated by Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmore.

I did love this book. I like how the author gave all the tiniest details on the steamy scenes. It’s hot but classy at the sane time.

Great story that has hot x. Only downside is the female narrator.

While it wasn't all that unique of a storyline, it was still a good one. It had a nice comical side in places that actually pulled a laugh or two out of me. The male lead, I felt, was a bit too extreme in his beginning antics. Then again, her eventual reaction did make up for it. There were some things that seemed a bit out there/unrealistic, I personally felt. Overall, however, it was definitely worth the listen. I always love the whole bitter over heartbreak and then finding your true love trope along with the big, happy, and loving family. *sigh* Finally, these two narrators are always fantastic at bringing life to their stories.
