About this audiobook
Endings.
Everyone and everything has one. They’re inevitable, right?
At twenty-one, Ason ‘Ace’ Williams Jr. knows all about inevitable endings. He’s formerly famous, a popular rapper’s muse, the son of a three-time NBA champ, and a little… complicated. After a disturbing scandal and loss rocks his world, he’s left to deal with both in a city that doesn’t quite feel like home. It’s a place filled with old family friends he’s never met, reminders of all the endings he’s had to endure, and even worse—he’s stuck there after his dad takes a job no one ever imagined him taking.
Eighteen-year-old Lourdes ‘Phat’ Hines doesn’t think about endings because she’s too busy dealing with the now. She’s a part-time college student, full-time caretaker, and worst of all, a lowly freshman on a campus she doesn’t have time to get accustomed to. After a tense run-in with a boy she’s sure she’s supposed to hate, the endings she’s been running from catch up to her at full speed and she faces a question he seems to have the answer to: What happens at the end of it all?

Strong storyline with just enough romance. Characters are well developed and plot is engaging. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wonderful story. The ups and downs had me full engaged. Great storytelling. Great narration.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was a good book … excellent narrations done by the goats in the game. The story was good, but if I had one critique, it was that some of the phrases were too repetitive. And sometimes I found it hard to follow some of the characters, trains of thought, as if some things or phrases were running together. Last but not least, I will say that I felt like I was dropped in the middle of a world, and had to figure out some things as if this book almost needed a prequel.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Not only was this a great story but it’s narrated by two of my favorite narrators. The story was a bit a heavy but there’s nothing I’d change about it. Makes me want to visit planet Ace from time to time lol
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved every bit of it. Didn’t want it to end!!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Life is funny. All it takes is to be born with a silver spoon or so you would think. When you have everything there is always some one wanting it. Do you fold & let them have it or do you fight to keep it?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a Great read !!!keep me interested would love the other part to the story
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Soo many emotions. Healing my inner young adult life. Honestly this book is nostalgic. It reminds you of the innocence of young love and the willingness to do anything. It’s an ode to what I thought my first love would be.
