About this audiobook

Four hot Irishmen sitting in a leprechaun's bar . . . All staring at me like I'm his pot of gold.

Oh yeah, I'm one lucky woman. But everything isn't rainbows and lucky charms with my four Irish treasures. Warwick may have helped me break the curse trapping Doran as the stone gargoyle, but the guys don't trust the leprechaun. At all.

Worse, demons are pouring into our world unchecked despite the four treasures being reunited. I am their treasurekeeper, the conduit that allows their magic to flow, but there are disturbing holes in my memory. Someone doesn't want me to remember . . .

And these whiskey-drinking, tattoo-loving, motorcycle-riding badasses are quick to leap to the conclusion that I've been lepre-conned.

Contains mature themes.

Book 2 in this RH Irish series was a good improvement to book 1. I connected more with the guys and was getting sucked into the plot with all the more conflicts and creatures and worlds in this one. I love our FMC’s relationship with her bestie. I love she can always turn to her and Viv will help her but will also keep a level head and want the plan before everyone is thrust into danger. I love her budding romance with Hammer too, so adorable!

We get more steam in book 2, more connections made and finally letting go of the past (or at least somewhat). I like that Rhiannon (hopefully I am spelling that right, I am listening so I am just guessing at this point haha) like the aggressive and wild sexy times with some of her guys, but also loves the more intimate and passionate. I enjoyed seeing her powers grow and I actually liked the twists when it came to the baddie and his plotting. I was kinda confused at the end (I loved the mind games haha) but the rest worked well and I was smiling with how the author pulled it off haha. I am intrigued after the jaw dropping reveal at the end, I hope book 3 is coming to audio, or I can pick it up and read the finale. I would give this one a 3.75-4 stars and rounding up because this one we got more out of it. It was longer, more intricacies allowed, more connections for the readers to grab hold of, etc. I think for me I like this plot more in this series. Don’t get me wrong the steam is good, but I am more interested in what is going to happen and how they all will get their HEAs.

Narration was good, again I wish we had duet narration but this narrator can handle some of the guys accents on her own. I thought again she fumbled a bit with some accent consistencies (esp our gargoyle) but overall a solid 4 stars. I did appreciate the performances in the beginning with the FMC in the other world and then throughout with our Leprechaun giving clues but not giving anything away so she could figure it out. And her coming into her powers, loved the art aspect and how the narrator did the painting scene at the end. So good!
