About this audiobook

Ivy was hoping for a quiet weekend with guests who don’t have too many complaints at the Roosevelt Inn. She never expected one of the guests to be pushed down the stairs. What's worse is that everyone is snowed in, and the police can't be reached.

Just loved the story, moved along at a good pace and was very interesting! Loved the person who read it, voice was easy to listen to ?

This book was awful. The main character was ridiculous—rude and presumptuous with ridiculously simplistic thinking as well as very self centered, worrying more about how her business will be affected than anything else and her treatment of other people, because she ludicrously thought she had the right to investigate a crime, was criminal. The characters were unlikeable and unbelievable and the book sounded like it was written by a 5th grader.

I will remember this narrators name and never check out another book she narrates. She ruined the book. I felt like I was back in kindergarten and the teacher was reading to me.

Hmmm. This murder mystery was ok and somewhat entertaining. I don't think making it a "short" was wise. I wish there'd been more character development in each guest, as well as in Ivy and Charlie. Some of the puzzle pieces-the the clues Ivy presented- lacked depth- how did she get this information? it just "came to be" at the story's end. I think if the author would have given each character at the inn something quirky or odd about themselves- to in order to increase the possibilities of "who done it" , the read would have been much more interesting. The story ended too abruptly and I really disliked what the murderer did at the end.

It was something to listen to while I was sick and didn’t want any light on. But, so many holes in the story. The narrator was not that great either, but at least her voice wasn’t a distraction.

This recording, narrator is awkward with pauses. Had to increase voice speed to avoid these pauses. Oddly *more accurately' - accurate cannot be more. Several other grammar challenges. The writting and storyline is mediocre. Continuous referral by the protagonist about her business going under so she must solve this murder. Unrealistic daft group of characters.

The book was ok, but very little suspense or excitement. The narrator read like she never read a book before. I’ve heard her read for other authors, andI guess it’s how she reads.

The writing was at 6th reading level and the narrator sounded like she had taken dictation lessons to shed an accent.
