- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5WOW! The storyline has so many twists. It is a great book
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of the performances of the audiobook narrators. I awaited twists that never came, a story that never seemed to progress (seriously, there were entire chapters of backstory where nothing actually happened) and quite a lot of characters that did nothing for the plot. This was more of a character and romantic drama, rather than a thriller.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book, enjoyed beginning to end! I was very invested in each character.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The book offers itself as a psychological thriller and it just wasn’t that. As an avid thriller reader I was looking for far more and thought of this more as an extended soap opera episode. But now that I finished it I hate being a critic because the writing was good, the characters were likable (unless they weren’t supposed to be), and it wasn’t necessarily boring- so I didn’t hate it. I just wouldn’t think to recommend it to someone looking for a thriller.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was fun but honestly Rowan’s portion could have been winnowed down to a quarter of what it was. The redundancy was unbelievable. Going on and on and on and on abt her love for her family was nauseating.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/53.5⭐ upgraded.
It was entertaining enough. A little over the top at times and a little slow at others, but it held my interest until the end.
The upgrade is because of the twist I wasn't expecting which made me chuckle. - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Terrible book! Terrible female narrator! I'm not even sure why I finished it! Only decent part was epilogue
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5** spoiler alert ** GODDAMN it was SO HARD to finish this one!!! Psychological romance??? LMFAO this is such a slow and uneventful story. crazy soon to be ex wife tries to kill her cheating husband for financial gain. cheating husband is in a coma. wakes up. nothing nothing nothing, boring boring boring, fluff fluff fluff. crazy soon to be ex wife is murdered. the end.
30 min epilogue: plot twist - criminal is not who you think he is. BLEHHH - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Predictable and sometimes hard to follow. Couldn't bear to finish it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book. Loves the story and the subplots. Worth the read
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/53.75 Stars for me.
It would be a bit higher but the story was a bit drawn out. The ending makes many of the head scratching decisions make more sense. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good storyline, a lot of action, Heartbreaks and victory. A lot about of how to be a good human and domestic abuse reference.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Very predictable, cartoonish antagonist, unrelatable heroes and situations, really tried to give it a chance, so disappointed

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Hated the ending thought he would say no made a mockery of the story
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book is a typical main stream suspense thriller. It’s not insultingly stupid - as many, if not most - are. However, its characters are one dimensional, which strengthens its already inherent predictability.
I would describe this book as a good time killer, but there are too many really great books out there for me to kill the preciously short time we have in this life. As my old boss would say, “It’s not worth the calories.”1 person found this helpful
