About this audiobook
Twelve years of heartache. Twelve acts to uncover the truth.
“...and born of my torment, a plan conceived: daring, dastardly, and a touch divine, a frantic clutch at fate’s unruly ruffs, that the great black hole of despair might not swallow me whole.”
Twelve years after his disappearance, Jack Sutton is spotted jogging through a park. Tortured by questions of Jack's unknown fate, Camden Slade’s anguish takes a turn for the reckless, and she conceives a plan to discover what happened to him. With the help of two friends and a hired gun, Camden sets her strategy in motion, a plan that requires her full arsenal of skills as a fraud examiner and turns the tables in her favor. When things start to fall apart, Camden finds herself scrambling to avoid detection and hide her wrongdoings. She is finally able to ask the long-awaited questions of her heart, but is she prepared for the answers she receives or to face the soul-altering savagery of what she has done?

Dawn Rasmussen's personal slogan is "Always be on the lookout for a spot of magic." This is how she lives her life. She finds magic in nature, spontaneous adventures, amazing books, and great swimming holes. Dawn started writing TWELVE FOR TWELVE as a self-imposed therapy assignment that recommended recording her unresolved feelings and burning them afterward. Rather than engaging in bonfire triumph, Dawn kept writing until one day it became a novel. Her great hope is for one person to feel less lonely by what she has written.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This storyline has many twists and turns. The plot keeps changing without giving away the end.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I could only finish the book by hoping a well-meaning serial killer came and took out the entire cast of this book. The "heroine" is extremely self absorbed and a nut case.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I just could not follow where this was supposed to go and stopped listening halfway through the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Nothing like I've read before... Very unique... Loved it..great plot
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Might have been a good book. Repeating over and over to make it last longer? Redundant
Get on with it, develop more of a plot instead of continual repeating - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was an awesome read. I couldn’t put it down once I started!!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed the overall plot. While I love books that don’t dumb down speech, at times I needed a dictionary to follow along. Good story though!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5BS RATING IS FOR THE PHILOSOPHISING, not the story. Cheated.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Ok..a man left you, move on! For someone who supposed to be smart, she’s not well-adjusted. More of a psycho.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A female stalker harasses others as her job, a “professional provoker” (if there is such a word)! It’s a sexist reversal that would be condemned if it were a man stalking his ex girlfriend. Ridiculous

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I couldn't finish this. No hook, no suspense. Not even sure where else it was going. Did she get ghosted, then turn this into a major life trauma worthy of stalking? Not sure, but couldn't hang on longer.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5WHAT!?! Listening to a woman mourn so much so long then turns into a vengeful stalker. Ridiculous.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I do not like the synthesized recordings. It’s like listening to a robot with a monotone voice.
