nice sequel to the never king. Pan and his lost boys are still searching for his shadow. Captain Hook's presence is bigger in this book. There's drama, tension, disappointment and lots of Why Choose spice! This one also ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger! Can't wait to read book 3

Again half porn half story. The story got better when there was some. Still think the amount of S&M porn needs to be toned way down and less of it. This book had way more explicit vulgar sex scenes straight up XXX-rated. I do love the story though so I keep reluctantly listening. She is brilliant at cliffhangers once again so now I need to listen to the next one wishing for the end of this series already. All the porn makes it painful to listen to and books shouldn’t do that. Again the narrators keep switching roles and don’t sound like themselves from one chapter to the next—poor planning. So if you’re okay with xxx rated sex scenes and constant mentioning of sex body parts with a little story mixed in then this book is for you. Also lots of detailed cigarette smoking.

I really wanted to love this book. It's a good reading and a nice sequel to the Never King, and it does show us more of the dark one and that's amazing. But I did catch some inconsistencies with the story of the first book which bugged me for most of the entirety of the book

This book definitely won’t win a Pulitzer but it quick and fast smüt with little to no plot. If that’s what you’re looking for then you will love it.

These books are so addicting. The plot and the spice just grip you. I was so excited when I knew this was based around the mysterious Vane and this book delivered! I can not get enough of these lost boys. Another incredible addition to the series.
Also the spicy scene with the tree. I’m going to hell that’s all I know.
The only thing I will say is when Vane and Winnie finally come together it would be a little different than how it played out. I just loved the hate and venom of Vane. I could of waiting longer honestly just didn’t feel the bang.

Shout out to the audiobook narrators because it is an experience.

Oooh you knwo how some sequels are pale comparisons to the original? Well, this book is the opposite of that!
I very much enjoyed this book more!

Take everything I liked about the previous book and add boys who no longer have to hide things from Winnie because she is now one of them.

The war between the fae kingdom, the pirates and Peter is definitely in now. The shadows are both back and it's a race to see who claims the.
Will Peter get his shadow back? Who will claim the Dark shadow?

Things are getting complicated and also hot, heavy and fun.
