Description

When it comes to someone who is the embodiment of Everyday Ultra, Justin Gruenewald fits the title. Not only is he one of the best athletes in the sport, but he also works a demanding job, is the father of young children, and helps to raise money for rare cancer treatment.
And most recently, he not only came in second place at the Tarawera 100K, but he also did it coming off of not drinking alcohol for the whole month of January. And his experience was nothing but beneficial.
In this episode, Justin shares all about his Tarawera race, his key ingredients for success, and how ditching alcohol for the month of January affected his race performance. We also chat about mindset strategies, nutrition strategies, and Justin’s belief in running for a bigger cause.
Huge thank you to Justin for coming on the show!
