Description

Is it possible to go from no ultrarunning background to being a runner who represents USA on the world stage of ultrarunning? You bet!

Our guest today proves its possible, because he's done it! And he's also won many ultramarathon races, been on the podium multiple times, and has had tons of strong finishes. All while also having a family, full-time job, and spending part time as a content creator.

Jake Jackson is our guest today, and he's an absolute grinder when it comes to the sport of ultrarunning. He's represented the US as a part of the 24 hour National Team twice and has racked up tons of great wins and results in his ultrarunning career.

And now, he's gearing up for the longest race he's faced yet: Cocodona 250! And we get into the weeds of his training on this episode.

In this episode, Jake shares his training for Cocodona 250, how he prioritizes recovery and performance, and his best pieces of advice for balancing life and running to be great at both.

Huge thank you to Jake for coming on the show!
