Description

A few years ago, Dan Wints found himself on a hotel roof, debating whether to end his life. He spent over 8 hours there but eventually the thought of his children brought him down and into the care of people who could help him. After largely recovering his health, Dan now works as a mental health advocate and has his own consultancy business, where his mission is to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and to help change corporate culture incorporating KPI’s around mental wellness. Dan believes that happiness is a skill you can learn, and in this conversation we explore his ideas around laughter as a medicine, and using techniques such as breathing, physical exercise, gratitude and social connection to be happy and healthy.
