Description

Tips to mindfully approach charting or any other task you would rather not do. We share our own struggles with charting and ways in which a task such as charting can be mindfully completed by changing how one shows up for the task.  We offer self-care as a tool to help one accomplish tasks that you would rather not do.   Charting is an opportunity to practice mindfulness: accepting, but noticing judgment about not liking, noticing any shame, frustration, self-criticism that arises, and how the task can be met with mindful awareness, compassion, and kindness.  Grounding into an intention for the task, being mindful of what one includes in the note, letting go of perfection, and setting oneself up for success can all be ways charting can be more ease-ful.  To help with showing up more mindfully, try one of Ni-Cheng’s 1-5 minute practices from her Mobile Wellness for Healthcare Professional series here.  If you are a healthcare professional and have not already joined us, we invite you to join us at the mindfulhealthcarecollective.com and at our Facebook group of the same name here.  Listen to Jessie’s Moments of Presence   Subscribe and enjoy Mindful Yoga on YouTube  Join a livestream Mindful Yoga class: www.jessiemahoneymd.com/yoga Gift yourself 1:1 Mindful Coaching or a Mindful Coaching, Yoga  & Culinary Medicine Retreat Connect with us and find out more about the Mindful Healers Podcast and our offerings at https://www.jessiemahoneymd.com/mindful-healers-podcast *Nothing in this episode should be considered medical advice.
