The fear is palpable.
You hear it in the conversations and updates around you.
You feel it in your body.
You see it in the eyes of your friends and family.
But you know that peace and solutions and healing cannot live in the energy of fear.
So the intention of today’s meditation is to help you identify the fear around you and in you, so you can separate from it and practice letting it go.
So you can show up today with calmness, clarity, wisdom and presence.
And so you can contribute to the universal energy of love that is needed right now.
Journal Prompts:
I recommend writing the following journal prompts on a loose piece of paper, or a page in your journal you can easily rip out, as I’ll be recommending you crumble up the paper and throw it away.
Write down all the fears you’re having right now. Start with, I’m afraid that… and let yourself write until you can’t write anymore. When you feel the emotions arise from identifying these fears, just recognize them and breathe them out. And then continue writing. This practice is to help you put words to those fears so you can let them go instead of letting them be vague and clouding inside of you.
Write down 10 things you’re grateful for right now.
Write down 10 affirmations that make you feel good. Examples: I am safe. I am healthy. I am present. I am peaceful. I am resilient.
Now crumble up the paper you just wrote on and throw it away, symbolically letting the fears know that you are choosing to let them go.
