Description

In the quest to assure people I was never going to “make them dance and point” on Tiktok and Instagram as a marketing coach I did something terrible.
I made it sound like there was something wrong with doing exactly that. And of course there isn’t! In fact some of my biggest reels have involved me dancing and pointing at words that appear on a screen.
What I should of said, and what I say now is that you never HAVE to to that. But if it’s your style, then let me show you how to do it in a way that brings you your ideal customers.
The truth is that there is no one way to attract your ideal clients, and you need to know what style you best fit. As a content marketing coach, my job is to help you find your style, and then grow into it.
You might never point and dance in a video, use a meme, or share a witty quote. Alternatively you may never talk straight to camera, may a how to video or talk politics on the internet.
As business owners we don’t need to consider ourselves a full time content creator, but we do need to work out the type of content creator style that best fits us, and best fits our business.
And we need to stop judging other people with a different style, or telling people there is only one way to get it done. In my content marketing programme we have every type of content creator working on building their small business, and I refuse to make them fit into a technique that doens’t fit them best.
In this episode I’m going to walk through how to show up authentically in your way, cover the five main types of content creator types you can be as a small business owner, and what sort of content you would be more likely to make.
Here’s to liberating ourselves from the shoulds of content creation and find out where you best sit instead

In this episode we cover:

Why we should stop judging and start choosing
Why our face matters and your out if you refuse to show it
What’s right for me might not be right for you
What happens when we don’t work out our creator style
The different types of content we can create
The five main types of content creators
How to get inspiration for your content
