He has been a part of the United States indoor and beach national teams since 2005. In 2013, he was named the "AVP Newcomer of the Year" as well as the "Most Improved Player". He finished the 2016 Olympic qualification third among U.S. men's teams and tied for 15th in the Olympic standings. He qualified for the Rio Olympics, and is tenacious on the court.
