Description
+++ LIKE THE PLAGUE +++
There are a number of precautions I take to avoid certain things in life such as the spread of germs.
I hate it when I'm in a crowded space and someone lets out a huge sneeze and not cover their mouth.
They'll put their head to the side or face down towards the ground as if the ground or space is going to absorb their germs. Uggh! Disgusting!
Do you feel that way too?
When that happens I try to quickly cover my nostrils.
Like my attempt to avoid acquiring someone else's germs, leaders need to make every attempt to avoid these following 7 behaviors.
In full transparency, these are taken from an article my friend Brigette Hyacinth posted on her LinkedIn page. Here's the link to the full article if you are interested.
In this episode, you'll hear how these behaviors can have an enormous impact, in a negative way, on any organization.
These are complete deal breakers:
Micromanaging
Picking favorites
Taking credit for employees' work or successes.
Ignoring feedback - Not listening
Leaders who don't Listen
Not standing up for employees
Overworking employees.
Overlooking or not recognizing employees' contributions.

And remember, you are ONE SKILL AWAY...
P.S. The new Facebook Group is opened for leaders who want to succeed where others failed and become the leader everyone loves and wants to follow. Here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/groups/eoleader
