Description

We so enjoyed talking with Emmy award winning WUSA9 evening news anchor and journalist, Adam Longo. In addition to being a phenomenal reporter, Adam is a fantastic endurance athlete who has shaved over 1.5 HOURS off his marathon time since running his first marathon a decade ago. Adam shares his training and time management secrets, along with his reporting adventures and why, especially now, facts matter. We so appreciated Adam’s candor and willingness to share what life is like for him as an endurance athlete and journalist in the DC area during a pandemic.
Adam mentioned his favorite stories, including a real Forrest Gump who ran across the United States, Robert Pope (http://goingthedistancerun.com/).  Adam is married to Melissa and is a proud father of three.
Adam can be found on Instagram @adamlongo, Facebook @AdamLongo and Twitter @adamlongoTV.  Adam is the 5 pm weekday anchor and investigative reporter for WUSA9 and a journalism professor at the University of Maryland.
Special thanks to our editor, Erin Bryant.
