I barely remember what happened yesterday, my dear Diary. However, when I woke up, I saw Steve standing in front of me, sword in hand, staring at a strange figure by the door across the room.

We had fallen into a water-filled pit, which turned out to be a secret passage. Steve seemed to be prepared to attack whatever that creature was, and I was still dizzy after waking up.

    Ann! Ann? Steve repeated constantly.

    Yes… I am okay. I replied.

You scared me, I could hear Steve’s relief in his voice.

I am sorry. I hit the ground too hard. Should have used one of my gravity potions to break the fall. I said.

Let’s go. It’s not like we have much of a choice. Steve said.

We followed the creature. The place was dark and it was hard to see anything properly. We could only hear its footsteps ahead of us, and eventually, see its back whenever we passed by one of the torches scattered throughout that dimly lit corridor.

Here we are. Go inside and you’ll meet your friends. The creature said. Now I have to go because it’s my shift to look after the main hall.

What main hall? Who are you? Where are we? Steve wanted to know everything and asked many questions all at once.

    "No time to explain,
