I sit by the campfire, trying to write in this journal. The darkness creeps in, and my feeble attempt at shelter reminds me that Beth was always the skilled one at this. But now, we're all separated, and I have no idea where anyone is.
Maybe I should start from the beginning. I'm doing my best not to be nervous about being in this jungle, but it's challenging! At least I have this journal to distract me, right?
About a week ago, we left our village, which was a big deal. We'd never ventured out before; we'd always kept to ourselves. It was because we were different from most creepers – we were friendly. But given the reputation of creepers, no one really believed that we weren't just going to explode around everything. So, we decided to form our own village up in the mountains, away from everyone else where we felt safe.
That was until recently. Lately, our village has been under attack by creatures from the Nether. It's baffling. We've never had Nether creatures in the Overworld, let alone attacking us. So, the entire village fought back. With our supplies running low due to the constant attacks, and unable to locate where the enemies were coming from, some suggested going to the Nether. But that idea was quickly dismissed.
